![]() When something goes wrong people tend to take it personally like it was a deliberate action against their package when in reality the more likely/common cause was just an error somewhere along the line and that happens. Unless you want each stamp to be $4, they have a remarkablt low level of loss.Īgreed, customers don't realize the scale of things going on behind the scenes to get items from point A to point B. But out of the billions of envelopes delivered across the country for half a dollar everyone only remembers the one that was lost or late. ![]() The number of missed checks due to human error on my part were probably double that (grabbing a check and the one under it on accident into the same envelope, misprinting an address, etc). For my job I mail at least 200 time sensitive checks out a month, and over the last year there were maybe 10 that didn't get there when expected, and most of those were during the holidays. There's going to be a certain level of loss where the cost to reduce it far outweighs the cost is the loss. Adding probably an entire shifts cost and time to shipping anything. I mean, the only way to minimize it any more would be to have every van individually emptied and refilled checking every single parcel and to have the entire fleet wait to be deployed until every single van is rechecked. I mean, given the speed the pickers grab and sort things and the sheer volume of product, it's amazing that this isn't a more regular occurrence. ThanksĪll things considered, it's really amazing how relatively uncommon this is. Because I am just unhappy on how this whole thing has turn out. They offer me a refund, and buy from a third party seller which I refuse because they are selling them well over $3k+. I been hearing stories on how delivery drivers are taking people packages and this is another one example of a stolen package by an Amazon driver but they would not admit it. But for some reason now its deem to be be lost. I know it was never lost in transit because the person I spoke to said it was going back to the facility for another attempt to redeliver to me on Feb 11th for a Monday/Tuesday delivery. I know for sure the Amazon delivery drivers have GPS tracking on them but they refuse to look into it. That's the only conclusion I can think of as the item I ordered was very hard to come by nowadays because of tariff and scalpers and the low of supplies. It was stolen by there own amazon driver. ![]() Then I check my order status on the 15th of February and the status changed to package is undeliverable and will be sent back to the seller (which is Amazon) I then call there support number and was told the package was lost in transit on February 11th, the same day it was suppose to be deliver to me. It would be re-deliver to me by Feb 14th or feb 15th by 2 customer representatives that I had spoken to via chat support. I contacted amazon support and was told the package was mis-scanned and they assure me the package was at there warehouse facility. It was out for delivery the whole day since 11am and I waited till 10pm. ![]() I ordered a item on that was suppose to be deliver to me last Thursday Feb 11th. Hi everyone, I just want to get this off my chest from my personal experience first time with an amazon problem with there delivery.
